Update April 2010 The owner of Croxley Business Park has made an application for ‘Retention and temporary use of the existing 5-a-side football pitch for 1 year and erection of retractable side netting and posts’.
Planning Application number: 10/0452/FUL Full details can be found on the Three Rivers District Council website via the Public Access facility:- MUGA Application
— 28/09/08 — The owner of the Croxley Green Business Park had applied for a floodlit “Multi Use Games Area” on its land next to Croxley Common Moor. This would have had a major impact on parts of the Byewaters estate, particularly Gill Close.
The Council’s Development Control Committee was to have decided this application at its meeting on Thursday 21 August, but the application was withdrawn at the last moment. The Watford Observer reported on 19 September that the owner will not reapply, because it wants good relations with neighbouring communities. The Three Rivers District Council website shows: · the application at Multi Use Games Area · the officers’ report (which had recommended refusal) at Report |
